MuoGen accounts
Account privacy
MuoGen uses account information to register users, verify email addresses and maintain secure login sessions.
Account data
Your account stores an identifier, email address, optional display name, account creation date and acceptance of the account conditions. Password authentication is handled by Supabase; MuoGen does not store your password in its application files. Paid account balances are kept separately and cannot be edited by users.
Authentication services
Supabase manages authentication and account records in the project's Paris region. Resend delivers confirmation and password recovery emails through the European sending region. When you choose Google sign-in, Google supplies the identity information needed to authenticate, including your email address and basic profile. Cloudflare Turnstile verifies account forms to prevent automated abuse.
Essential cookies
MuoGen uses an encrypted session cookie to keep you logged in for up to 30 days and a temporary login cookie for external sign-in. These cookies are restricted to the website and cannot be read by its JavaScript. Logging out clears them from your browser.
Credit purchases
When credit purchases are enabled, Stripe processes payments on its secure checkout page. MuoGen sends your email address, account identifier and selected amount to create the payment. MuoGen records confirmed payment amounts, dates and the associated account to maintain your balance and payment history. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and are not stored by MuoGen.
Security and control
Account database access is restricted to each user's own records. Password recovery links expire after one hour. Use My account to change your password or log out. Requests concerning account data should be addressed to MuoGen's operator.
