MuoGen for developers
MuoGen developer API for AI images and videos
MuoGen provides a versioned API for available image and video models. Its production base URL is https://muogen.com/api/v1.
How do I get an API key?
Sign in to your MuoGen account and open API keys in the profile menu. When the service is configured, create a key and copy it immediately. Store it privately on your server in MUOGEN_API_KEY. API keys are shown only once.
How do generation requests work?
Use Authorization: Bearer with your key. Read GET /models for the available catalog, request a quote with POST /quotes, and submit to POST /generations. The signed-in API keys workspace provides request examples and history.
How do spending limits work?
API generations use paid credits. Usage-based requests require a maxCostUsd spending ceiling. Unused reserved credits are returned after billing is verified, and a failed generation returns the reservation. Charges never exceed the submitted ceiling. Test credits cannot pay for API generations.
How do I avoid duplicate requests?
Use a stable Idempotency-Key for each generation. Check its request status before retrying an uncertain submission. Revoking an API key blocks new requests while existing generations continue to settle.
Read the API FAQ or open API keys.
